The Deli Lover’s Favorite special will feature Matzoh Ball Soup, Hot Open Pastrami and Corned Beef Combo, served with stuffed derma (kishke) and fresh-cut French fries. Accompanied by our fresh-cut Cole Slaw and Barrel Cured Pickles, all for the low price of $25.99! Extra-lean meats are available for an additional $1.00.
Delicatessen owners across the country have banded together to create National Delicatessen Month to celebrate the importance of delicatessens to the Jewish community, as well as raise awareness of the fact that they are rapidly disappearing. For the entire month of August, delicatessens are encouraged to create three-course, prix fixe menus that showcase some of their beloved traditional deli dishes. A portion of each of these meals sold will go towards a charity of the delicatessen’s choice.
For this special occasion, Ben’s has chosen to donate 15% of the proceeds from their prix fixe menu to the Interfaith Nutrition Network (the “INN”), a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization that provides a broad variety of essential services to assist those facing hunger, homelessness and extreme poverty.
