Ben’s Serves Rosh Hashanah Holiday Dinner without the Rush

Busy Families Are Relying More on Kosher Caterers to Prepare Holiday Meals

Rosh Hashanah is the time for families to come together, celebrate the New Year and enjoy each other’s company, but for many families, there is not enough time to prepare a meal for this special occasion. Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers serves homemade Kosher cuisine that has been passed down by countless generations to satisfy guests who seek holiday meals. Make this year’s Rosh Hashanah meal easy by sitting back, relaxing, and indulging in a wide array of Ben’s specialties while celebrating a Jewish tradition with family and friends.

This holiday season, Ben’s is offering its Catered Holiday Dinner special that serves ten guests. This catering package is ideal for customers who wish to uphold the tradition of family gatherings during holiday meals, but who may not have the time to rush around shopping or spend hours cooking over a hot stove. Today, with more families who do not have the time to prepare a holiday meal because of their hectic work and life schedules, Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is helping keep the tradition alive.

Ben’s Catered Holiday Dinner comes with twelve mini-stuffed cabbage plus a choice of either one quart of chopped liver or ten pieces of gefilte fish; four quarts of chicken soup with twelve matzo balls; a choice of three entrées: five roast chickens, a whole roast turkey (15 lbs. average) or four pounds of sliced brisket (brisket is an additional $10); and a choice of two sides (string beans almondine, egg barley and mushrooms, kasha varnishkes, broccoli almondine, sweet potato pudding, noodle pudding, or potato pudding). Accompaniments include one quart of cranberry-pineapple compote, one quart of carrot tsimmes, round challah, and one quart of fresh-cut cole slaw; and fresh-baked rugalach for dessert. A large fruit salad bowl is also available for an additional $29.99.

The holiday dinner package is available for only $339.99. Those who purchase Ben’s complete holiday dinner by September 19th will receive three “BUY-1-GET-1 FREE” coupons on their Ben’s Friends Preferred Patrons Club Card, for future use (no on-card coupons will be offered after this date).

Ben’s takeout counter is also the ideal place to pick up last-minute holiday items, anything from the main course to soups, side dishes, salads or dessert. Phone orders for takeout are accepted for orders of $100 or more, at least 24 hours in advance. Walk-ins are always welcomed.

All Ben’s locations will be closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah starting on Wednesday, September 24th at 4 p.m. Ben’s will reopen on Saturday, September 27th during regular business hours.
