(Manorville, New York) — The summer season has just begun, and there’s plenty to do at the Long Island Game Farm — Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo! For the first time ever, the park will present a variety of unique national acts, including The Horsing Around Show, The Extreme Raptor Project and Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures – which will each be presented on the park’s main stage at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on specifically scheduled dates. What’s more, several new and existing encounter experiences with the park’s wildlife staff will also be presented throughout the season.
The Horsing Around Show is a family-friendly, equine entertainment show that’s fun for the whole family, which will perform June 27-30, July 1-2 and August 15-25.
The Extreme Raptor Project, which will present shows July 6-10 and September 2-4, offers an extraordinary array of our greatest birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, falcons and owls. This entertaining and exciting show has delighted attendees across the country.
Nick Jacinto, one of the most well-known animal handlers in the New York tri-state area, brings his Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures show to the park. July 15-16 and August 12-13, Mr. Jacinto and his animals will delight audiences with a fast-paced, originally scripted humorous animal show. Each features creatures from all corners of the world including, but not limited to, kangaroos, monkeys, alligators, gigantic snakes, owls and falcons.
All animal shows will be held on the Main Stage and are included in the price of general admission – $18.95 for adults and $16.95 for children, seniors and military personnel. A pay-one-price package, which includes admission, rides and animal food, is also available. The Long Island Game Farm features daily interactive animal experiences, such as feeding Clifford at the Giraffe Encounter and holding baby animals in the Nursery Barn. The Long Island Game Farm was founded in 1970 by Stanley and Diane Novak and is located on 25 acres of land in Manorville. The Park has grown over the years and has served as a frequent destination of school children that have grown up on Long Island. Each year, thousands of guests visit the park.
