With the season in full swing, the Game Farm welcomes back its giraffe, camels and lemurs, who were previously enjoying the warmer spring weather in Florida.
“This is already a very exciting season,” says Melinda Novak, Vice President/Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. “We need your help in welcoming this year’s baby animals, who were just born! Please visit the nursery to learn more about the baby goats Jellybean and Peep, who were born on Easter, and our other happy new additions. This year we are welcoming back Nature Nick and Ranger Eric for some special interactive animal shows. We’re also excited to share some new shows and events, including the Horsing Around Show and Jonathan Wood’s Extreme Raptor Project.”
Now is also a great time to book school trips, children’s birthday parties and company outings, in addition to securing spots for summer events such as birthdays and camp trips.
The Long Island Game Farm – Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo will be open seven days per week (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) starting Thursday, May 18.
