In commemoration of Yom Kippur, Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is offering a special catered dinner package. This catering package is ideal for customers who wish to uphold the traditions surrounding Yom Kippur, but who do not have the time to prepare meals because of their hectic work and life schedules. Instead, Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is offering a variety of catering packages to help families continue these traditions.
During Yom Kippur, families take part in fasting as a way for atoning for their sins. Before the start of the holiday, they indulge in rich meals to prepare for the fasting.
This holiday season, Ben’s is offering its Catered Holiday Dinner special that serves six guests. Families can choose from four dinners:
● Roasted Chicken with savory stuffing, mashed potatoes and relish bowl for $99.99
● Roast Brisket with egg barley and mushrooms and relish bowl for $109.99
● Homemade Stuffed Cabbage with potato pudding and relish bowl for $119.99
● Israeli-Orange Chicken breast with cranberry relish and rice pilaf for $119.99
All dinners come with a whole challah; choice of cole slaw, health salad or cucumber salad; and choice of vegetable (string beans or broccoli — plain or almondine, or sugar snap peas with sesame seeds).
Ben’s regular menu and catering items are also available. Ben’s takeout counter provides a wide array of freshly prepared items — from soups and salads to main and side dishes — ideal for a pre-Yom Kippur meal. Phone orders and walk-ins are welcomed.
All Ben’s locations will be closed in observance of Yom Kippur starting on Friday, October 3rd at 4 p.m. Ben’s will reopen on Sunday, October 5th during regular business hours.
